LifeStory Productions is a highly specialized video production facility, focusing on preserving lifetime memories through personal video history.

Each LifeStory production is a unique representation of the subject, using the subject's own pictures, film and video. Personal visuals are mixed with the subject's oral history, as well as music and professional editing. The result is a compelling, state-of-the-art production, comparable in every way to the biography shows you might see on television.

Executive Producer Lori Savitch got the idea for LifeStory while producing Intimate Portraits, a biography series about celebrity women on Lifetime Television.

"As I worked on Intimate Portraits, I couldn't help but wish I could produce a similar video about my mom," says Lori, whose mother died after an extended battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Now, thanks to the latest digital video technology, Lori is able to apply her unique professional experience to produce TV-quality videos for anyone wishing to preserve their own personal history, or the life story of a loved one.

Businesses such as LifeStory Productions have been proliferating, especially in the wake of the tragedy of 9/11. According to the Association of Personal Historians, membership has more than doubled in the past three years.

"The video produced by LifeStory for my 50th birthday went beyond all of my expectations. The production of the video was technically flawless, presenting every photo, press clipping, and video clip of my life, my family, my friends, and career. It brought tears to my eyes, and to those of many of my birthday party guests, many of whom want to have their own LifeStory told. A LifeStory video is a keepsake that families and individuals will treasure for years to come."
